Event summary

A combination of symposium, hands-on workshop, and tours of collections of photographs at the NGA, SI, and Library of Congress brought together the results of a multi-year, multi-institution research project on platinum and palladium photographs.  Despite their reputation for durability, some of these prints have altered over the years.  Connections between original processing variations and current conditions were shown to be vital to understanding both historic and modern prints.National Museum of the American Indian and National Gallery of Art
